The Founder and Proponent of the SAO Group, a socio-political and humanitarian organisation, Hon. Sunday Adeleke, has praised the leadership qualities of Alhaji Bisi Olopoeyan, describing him as a father figure whose contributions continue to shape the political landscape of Oyo State and Nigeria.

Speaking on the leadership philosophy of the respected political figure, Adeleke said Olopoeyan has remained a symbol of unity, peace, and reconciliation, earning the admiration and confidence of people across the state.

Grassroots Support for Bisi Olopoeyan Signals Broader Regional Realignment

“Alhaji Bisi Olopoeyan is a blessing to Oyo State because of his immense personal contributions to the growth and development of the state and the country. Above all, his reconciliatory approach to politics deserves commendation. He has consistently championed unity, peaceful coexistence, and inclusiveness,” he said.

Adeleke noted that Olopoeyan’s widespread acceptance among the people reflects his deep grassroots connection and people-oriented style of leadership.

According to him, the SAO Group draws inspiration from Olopoeyan’s philosophy of service, stressing that the organisation’s humanitarian activities are rooted in the belief that governance and leadership should prioritise the welfare of the people.

“His popularity among the masses is a testament to his grassroots orientation. Following his political philosophy is a logical decision because our group is committed to promoting people-centred leadership. We have continued to contribute our quota to humanity through various humanitarian interventions,” Adeleke stated.

He further emphasised that the group’s commitment to public service aligns with Olopoeyan’s long-standing belief in selfless service to humanity.

“If his philosophy is truly centred on serving humanity—as he has consistently preached and demonstrated—then we are proud to identify with a political school of thought whose principal believes in the dignity and welfare of mankind.”

Adeleke also urged members of the SAO Group to remain steadfast and committed to the organisation’s grassroots movement, expressing confidence that their dedication would ultimately yield positive results.

“I encourage all our members to remain focused and committed to the grassroots movement of SAO. There is always light at the end of the tunnel, and with perseverance, our vision for a better society will be achieved.”

He reaffirmed the group’s commitment to humanitarian service and grassroots development, describing these ideals as the foundation upon which the SAO Group intends to continue making meaningful contributions to society.
