A cleric, Apostle Jeremiah Adeyeye, has disclosed that President Bola Tinubu needs to be prayerful to complete his first term.

He emphasised that if God answers his prayers and he completes this tenure in 2027, he should not dream of going for a second term. The cleric advised President Bola Tinubu to shelve the idea of a second term if he is nursing it.

Apostle Adeyeye, who disclosed this during the World Press Conference on the country’s situation, held at the NUJ Press Centre in Iyaganku, Ibadan, also urged the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Akeem Owoade, to exercise caution.

The cleric disclosed that President Bola Tinubu needed to be prayerful to complete this tenure, emphasising that if God answers his prayers and he completes this tenure in 2027, he should not dream of going for a second term.

“Precisely, it was 2013 that I delivered the World Conference at Glory View Hotel in Ibadan, when I presented the Almighty God’s message concerning Nigerian leaders and the United States of America (USA).

This year, God gave me a message to deliver to Nigerians and the leaders. God’s message to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and also an advice to God, showed me that he did not finish his term in office. If he is lucky enough to finish this tenure as God revealed, he should not be clamouring to contest for a second term, because God’s words always stand.

“He should go back home to atone for all that he has done and seek the face of Almighty God. But if he insists on going for a second term after he luckily finishes this term, that means what he luckily escaped in his first term in office will surely happen during the second term. God’s words always stand,” Apostle Adeyeye said.

Thw Cleric on Atiku, Obi’s presidential Ambitions

Ahead of the 2027 presidential election, he advised former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi not to waste their time and resources, stating that no coalition can oust the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) except by divine intervention, and that is why God sent His prophecy to President Bola Tinubu.

Message to Alaafin of Oyo

Revealing the message as regards the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Owoade, the cleric warned that the monarch needed to be very careful to live long on the throne. He emphasised that some people are not happy with the way and the process that led to his emergence as the Alaafin.

Clarifying that the message has nothing to do with the ongoing supremacy battle between the Alaafin of Oyo and the Ooni of Ife, Apostle Adeyeye expressed that he delivered a similar message to the late Alaafin, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi.

Message to former President Olusegun Obasanjo

Revealing God’s prophecy on Yorubaland, the cleric urged former President Obasanjo to set the machinery in motion to ensure peace in the region. He maintained that President Obasanjo’s failure to heed God’s message when he was in office is part of the problem affecting Yorubaland today.

“God said I should tell former President Olusegun Obasanjo that he should set his house in order because the time is near. He should utilise all that he has in his power to set Yorubaland in order before he leaves. All God’s messages that I told him when he was in government and after that he failed to follow are still affecting the nation today.”

In a message to the popular gospel singer Tope Alabi, Apostle Jeremiah Adeyeye implored her to return to God. “She is a gospel singer, and people get spiritual inspiration through her songs, but her way of life is not of God. She needs to reconcile with God and start anew.

The cleric, using the Holy Bible, Isaiah 1:1-31, appealed to Nigerians to look to God, stand with Him, and rely on Him alone for help, rather than seeking help from other gods or relying on their own ability.
