The Fomer three terms House of Representatives lawmaker, an industrious son of Ogun West, Hon. Akinlade Abiodun Isiaq, the Baba Adinni of Yewa Land has been in the fore front of emancipation and development of his people in Ogun West and Ogun State. A genuine apostle of good governance, humane, dynamic, religious and compassionate about the welfare of his people.

Undoubtedly, even out of elective office, he keeps demonstrating those mentioned attributes on several occasions.

Akinlade that left elective office 5 years ago still remain the hope of the people. He has not stopped facilitating lifelong career jobs for graduates, empowerment skills for the people and bringing developmental projects to his constituency and Ogun State at large. In the last one year the Baba Adinni of Yewaland continues to shine where other fails.

Some of Hon Akinlase’s Achievements

Facilitation of multimillion Naira Ethanol processing equipment for ethanol factory at Bioresource centre, Owode-Yewa.



Entrepreneurship Skills acquisition: Three (3) days entrepreneurship development training for 120 people on detergents/soap production technology, Zobo production technology, starch production technology, air freshener/fragrance production technology etc.

Employment drives: Due to his passion and his love for the youth, five additional youths from Ogun west got EMPLOYMENT into Federal government Agencies at Abuja

Commissioning of Multipurpose Hall at Ijofin. As his love for his people remains indelible, he Commissioned A Multipurpose Hall named after the town monarch, Oba Raufu Awode, at Ijofin in Ipokia Local Government.

Construction of Students’ Hall at Area Community High School, Owode, completed but yet to be commissioned.

Provision of 5000kva transformer at Nabda Isaga, Ilaro road.

Electrification of Akinlade Road at Isga Owode.

Construction and Commissioning of Hon. Abiodun Akinlade road at Bio-resource environs.

Capacity building training of 300 people on various fields of agriculture namely: fishery, snail breeding, grass -cutter, and propagation of breadfruit and plantains,

COVID-19 Pandemic: In his own personal efforts in this COVID-19 pandemic, he provides succour to various people by providing cash and food items.

Scholarship Award: He gave full scholarship award ( full boarding from JSS1 to SSS 3) to the best primary six student from Baptist Primary School Oke-Odan, Yewa South and one indigent student from Primary school Agosasa, Ipokia Local Govt into the Gem Int’l School, Owode-yewa Ogun State.

Hon Akinlade Abiodun, the Golden Son Of Yewa/Awori Land remains the best, the most popular and well love Son of the area. NO wonder people call him The Man, The Bridge, The Game Changer. Baba Omokekeke. His place in the history of Ogun west in particular and Ogun State in general is already written in Gold. He is a man that believes in teaching how to catch fish rather than given out fish.

Recently, President Muhammad Buhari appointed him as a Federal Commissioner in Federal Character Commission Abuja. With this appointment the Ogun State youths are so elated and happy that a new ray of hope has come for they believe that Hon Abiodun Akinlade, Baba Omokekeke will surely empower them the more. Akinlade leads and others follow. We pray that Almighty Allah should continue to guide and protect the hope of the youth, ever smiling Baba Adinni of Yewa land.
