Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide, popularly called Odidiomo, has called for the automation of processes, workflow, and revenue-generating agencies to enhance productivity and reduce the cost of governance.

Speaking during a 2-Day Retreat for members of the House of Representatives on economic transformation and development, Hon. Olajide emphasized the need for digital transformation, collaboration among security agencies, and the deployment of technology to combat corruption.

The Member represents Ibadan North West/South West federal constituency, highlighted the importance of defining security frameworks to protect investments and improve confidence, stating that “ICPC and EFCC should leverage technology to reduce corruption and improve their operations.

Hon. Olajide also stressed the need for automation of rules and business motion, duplication, and bills and workflow automation, saying “this will enhance efficiency and reduce unnecessary delays.”

Furthermore, Odidiomo declared a “state of emergency in digital literacy” and advocated for digital identity and data consolidation, emphasizing that “automation of all revenue-generating agencies is crucial for effective governance.
