According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas, the lawmaker, distributed fertiliser to farmers in the Ibarapa North, Ibarapa Central, Ibarapa East, and Ido local government areas.

It was stated that the donation demonstrated Senator Alli’s unwavering commitment to the agricultural sector.

The release stated that this initiative is another developmental project from Senator Alli, who has also sunk and repaired several boreholes in fulfilment of his promise to sink 100 boreholes within his first year in office.

Alli, represented by Mr Gbenga Elegbede, expressed his commitment to developing the agricultural sector in his senatorial district. He said support for farmers was crucial for food security and economic growth.

The lawmaker said the fertilizer distribution’s impact was expected to enhance agricultural output, improve crop yields, and contribute to the economic growth of local communities.

He urged the beneficiaries to use the fertilizers effectively and encouraged them to continue their hard work feeding the nation.

Senator Alli’s impactful gesture was met with gratitude and appreciation from the beneficiaries, who gathered to receive the much-needed agricultural input in Ayete and Ido Town.

Senator Alli’s representatives, Elegbede and Mr Ayo Adedokun, ensured the seamless distribution of the fertilizers to the beneficiaries who expressed their gratitude for the timely support provided by the senator.

Mr Akeem Oladiran, the representative of All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN), commended Senator Alli for his efforts in ensuring the welfare and productivity of farmers in the district.

He said the distribution of fertilizers would go a long way in improving crop yields and ultimately farmers’ income.

Mr Olusola Aderoju, Chairman of Agbe Semilore Lanlate Farmers Association, said the gesture would alleviate the financial burden of purchasing fertilizers and promote sustainable agriculture practices in the senatorial district.

Mr Azeez Jimoh, a farmer from Ibarapa North, appreciated the senator’s support and lauded his efforts to uplift rural communities and empower farmers to thrive in a challenging agricultural landscape.

Mrs Folasade Akintayo, a farmer from Ido, expressed gratitude to the senator for his continuous support and commitment to the district’s agricultural sector.

Mr Wahab Raheem, a beneficiary from Igboora, said the senator’s support and commitment to agriculture will inspire other stakeholders to invest more in the sector’s development, benefiting farmers and the entire country.

Mr Fatai Adesina, a farmer from Idere, expressed appreciation for the senator’s gesture, saying the fertilizers will significantly contribute to the success of their farming activities.

Samuel Adeolu, a farmer from Eruwa, said the gesture would encourage more farmers to actively participate in agriculture, knowing that their welfare and needs are being prioritised.

Pa Sunday Orisabukola, APC chairman in Ibarapa Central, said the senator’s support will improve crop yields and contribute to the overall economic development of the four local government areas.

Orisabukola observed that Senator Alli’s fertiliser supply is a lifesaver for farmers who depend on these vital inputs to improve soil fertility, boost crop yields, and maintain their livelihoods.

The senator added that Senator Alli’s proactive and hands-on approach to helping farmers reflected his steadfast faith in agriculture’s transformative potential as a driver of economic growth and community development.
