You would recollect that, recently, the stylish and elegant Ogun monarch, His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdulfatai Akorede Akamo, The Olunla Agbodere and Olu of Itori Egbaland has conferred the prestigious chieftaincy title of Yeye Bewaji Okin of Itori on Abike Jagaban.
This appointment by His Majesty is in recognition of her contributions to the growth and development of the people and by extension, the entire House of Oduduwa.
Today, Abike Jagaban has added another feather to her wings as she empowered widows and old woman in the ancient city of Itori.
She has built boreholes at different locations within the Itori metropolis to the admiration of all and sundry.
Apart from the provision of potable water for the good of all, she also donated ground machines in large quantities to the people of Itori. This kind gesture from Abike Jagaban is not unconnected with her love and passion for humanity.
Part of the items brought to the Palace of Olu of Itori that was distributed today is Deep freezers, 50 pieces of ground machines and many more.
At the Palace of the Olu of Itori, His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdulfatai Akorede Akamo, Chiefs, market women, artisans and onlookers converged to thank God for the massive donation by the Yeye Bewaji Okin of Itori Egbaland, Chief Abike Jagaban.
While the distribution lasted, the people thanked Yeye Bewaji Okin for her kind gesture and disposition in making life more abundant for all.
The Olu of Itori thanked the new chief for her unflinching supports and developmental strides in making sure that, the people have life and in abundance.
