Alli, during the parley expressed his intention to kick start the process for official declaration of his gubernatorial ambition as soon as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) lifts ban on the campaign ahead of the 2019 election.

“For me, having served one of the best Governors in this state, Senator Rashidi Ladoja as SSG and later Chief of Staff and my prior knowledge of grassroot administration in Ibadan North and recently, Chairman, Odu’a Investment Company Limited, I understand how best to confront frontally issues that are germane to industrialization of our dear state in making life more abundance for our people, yet I feel obliged that your contributions are needed to make this state works better for the good of all.
“I wish to sincerely appeal to you, especially the teeming economists here to bring to bear your academic prowess as we jointly agree to salvage the state from its current economic doldrums as our people are wallowing in poverty, want and deprivation. With tenacity of purpose and fear of God we can make this state work better and lift our people out of servitude,” Alli added.
