World boxing legend, Mike Tyson, has reportedly admitted that he almost killed himself due to his fantastic rise in the game of the ring which gave him a glorious name worldwide.
During his active boxing days, Mike Tyson was one of the best in the world considering the records he had and all his achievements in which many came his way at a younger age.
The 54-year-old burst onto the sporting scene in the 80’s thereby becoming the youngest world champion ever at the age of 20 when he beat Trevor Berbick.
But the American had many challenges during his boxing days as he famously struggled against criminality over the years.
According to the report on Daily Star, Mike Tyson explained that efforts for him to be famous almost backfired on him when he was a fighter.
“I think the biggest narcotic in the world is just this camera, I think that beats sugar. Yeah, great, smart people just couldn’t stop loving themselves too much.
”I got so caught up with this stuff – almost killed myself. Thinking I was somebody really special. You know, thinking I’m really special.”
