The people of Ondo State are set to witness an incredible and unforgettable raising of the bar in community service and dividends of democracy. An All Progressive Congress (APC) stalwart, who is the Chairman of the Federal Government Task Force on Monitoring and Enforcement of Nigerian Expatriate Business Permit and Expatriate Quota, Hon Bola Ilori, has determined to make a difference in political responsibility and responsiveness.
This Ondo indigene who has distinguished himself gloriously in Lagos, Osun, Ondo and Abuja is coming home to roost again by festering his community service on a grand scale never witnessed before in the State.
Hon Ilori will on Tuesday 27 April 2021 at 10 am gathered 1500 indigent students of Ondo City at Oba Adesanoye Civic Centre Ondo and bless them with free school uniforms, bags, books, writing and other educational materials.
The Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, has agreed to be the Special Guest of Honor who is expected to give out these items to the indigent students with the support of His Royal Majesty, Oba Victor Adesinbo Kiladejo, Jio II, and Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom.
According to Akinmusere Akinrelere, a public analyst in Ondo town “Hon Bola Ilori is one political stalwart in Ondo town who has never for once forsaken the Ondo city since his involvement in students’ unionism, party politics, public post all have been to the benefit of the poor people and the indigent students.
“He is always coming home to offer sustainable pro-poor and pro – masses services. We are happy with him. The coming event is going to be a landmark in the history of rendering selfless and unsolicited community service to Ondo city.”
