Renowned businessman cum publisher of Ireland-based journal, The Street Journal, Bowale Oluwole Arisekola has been installed as the Mogaji Ajenigi-Eye of Yemetu-Oje, Ibadan by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Aje Ogungunniso 1.
Arisekola was installed as Mogaji alongside other Mogajis on Monday. The installation ceremony, held at the Olubadan palace, Popo Yemoja, Ibadan, Oyo State, had in attendance families, friends and close associates of Wole Arisekola.
His conferment was described as a well-deserved one. As Wole Arisekola is highly resourceful and a lover of anything that will move forward his family and Ibadan land as a whole.
Speaking with journalists on Monday, at his Bodija residence shortly after his installation, Wole Arisekola noted that his installation has further confirmed good things he has done and his commitment towards the development of Ibadanland and Oyo State at large.
He said, “This is just the beginning of greater things to come to my family and Ibadan land, my plan is to consult round to know what my people lack which I’ve already been doing through my foundation by supporting Ibadan indigenes, widows and less privileged in the society.”
He, however, thanked the Olubadan and Olubadan-in-Council for the honour by installing him as the Mogaji Ajenigi-Eye of Yemetu-Oje, Ibadan.
Some of the dignitaries at the colourful ceremony include Hon. Sina Alabi; Alhaji Tunde Ologburo; the Commissioner of Youth a d Sports in Oyo State, Seun Fakorede; Prince Eniola Oyeyode Oyesosin; Mogaji Adekunle Kare, Mr Sola and others.
