The Special Adviser to the Oyo State Governor on Culture and Tourism, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige has felicitated his former Personal Assistant, Mr Wasiu Olalekan Babatunde (a.k.a. Omo Double) for making another history in his education career as he bagged a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Mental Health Nursing, from the University of Bedfordshire, Luton.

While congratulating the graduand, Hon. Ige said that he was happy that Lekan, who served as his second Personal Assistant when he was the Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East local government sought for more knowledge when he left Nigeria for the United kingdom immediately after his tenure as the Chairman.

Ige said that Lekan who is one of the numerous youths that he used his position as council Chairman to empower either by employment into the civil service or to travel abroad has made him proud today with his recent attainment.

Ige said that as a politician who has passion for investing in youth development and empowerment, hinted that his philosophy of life is to teach others how to fish rather than giving them fish.

Hon. Ige added that what makes him more happy is that Lekan Babatunde is not selfish as he has equally been using his opportunity in London to assist other people from Oyo state and beyond one way or the other.
