The Political Heads, Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in Oyo State have commended Governor Seyi Makinde for the peaceful manner the crisis trailing the selection of the next Olubadan of Ibadanland was resolved amicably.

This is as the Council bosses endorsed the Governor for a second term of office, describing his achievements in government as unprecedented since his assumption of office.

The Political Heads made the disclosures in a communique jointly signed by the duo of Adigun Tajudeen Adeniyi (Chairman & Political Head, Ibadanwest LCDA) and Fasasi Raheem Ajibola, popularly called FM (Secretary of the Forum and Political Head, Iseyin South, LCDA), shortly after their meeting in Ogbomoso North LCDA, Ojagbo, Ogbomoso.

They said the governor has proved beyond any doubt his capacity to take the state to greater heights with what he has done so far within the last three years of governance across the state.

They maintained that Makinde had no doubt expressed the modicum of “Omoluabi” and this had truly reflected in his attainment of unprecedented achievements in all sectors of the pacesetter state and beyond.

In another vein, the Political Heads have equally lauded Governor Seyi Makinde on the application of required knowledge, wisdom and skills to amicably resolve the lingering crisis associated with the Olubadan administration.

They maintained that Makinde remains a wise and humble leader of note who has the wherewithal and the needed prerequisites to engage in conflict resolution and ascertainment of love and togetherness in Oyo State and beyond.

They, however, lavished encomiums on a former Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu and her members of the coalition who recently went on solidarity support to the governor for the continuation of his leadership in the state.

They stressed that the step taken by the coalition justifies that they actually acknowledge the projects and masses’ applaudable programmes and policies being implemented by the governor.

Not only but also praised the PDP party leaders and most especially the Governing Advisory Council (GAC) led by Senator Hosea Ayoola Alleluyah for their brilliant tasks which is helping to bring and enhance the governor’s performances and stability of the party.

The Political Heads called on all and sundry to go out to obtain and revalidate their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) in order to guarantee the possibility of Makinde’s success for second term.
