The Heart Behind the Gospel Music Ministry
He draws deep spiritual inspiration for his compositions. He believes his music serves as a vital bridge to those struggling in their daily lives. Olorunfine wants listeners to grasp a core truth: God remains good, regardless of current circumstances. His work aims to ensure people feel supported and eventually emerge stronger to fulfil their divine destiny.
Wale Mimiola ascribed the inspiration behind the composition and release of the double singles to the need to get across to the world, especially for those who are facing challenges, to know that God is still good to them and will surely see them through and bring them out stronger to fulfil their destiny in life.
Musical Heritage and Professional Experience
The artist brings vast industry experience to this new project. His background includes working with iconic figures like Dele Ojo and Bayo Adegboyega (Atayero). He has spent years building coordinated scores for church choirs, refining his craft as a dedicated musicologist. His legacy is deeply rooted in his family history.
Mimiola is the fourth generation of the family, and his grandfather is Pa Emmanuel Olajide Christopher Mimiola, popularly called ‘Baba Eleye’, who taught Diya Ojo, the first keyboardist of KWAM 1, how to play the organ.
This rich heritage continues to shape his approach to modern gospel compositions. Before this current launch, he successfully released four previous albums. His discography includes:
- Iba Ma Sepe (1998)
- *Erin Ayo (2000)
- Oro Were (2006)
- O Ku Aduroti (2020)
As a prominent Ibadan gospel artist, Olorunfine remains committed to his ministry. The release of Olorunfine Reloaded marks another milestone in a career defined by faith and musical excellence. Fans and supporters are invited to join the celebration this Sunday in Oke-Ado.
