A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Hon. Shina Alabi, has said the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is in the best position to win the 2023 election.

This is just as he stated that the party would send Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State out of the Agodi Government House.

Alabi, while participating in a political programme on an Ibadan-based radio station, Yes 101.7 FM, titled “The Big Deal,” insisted that the former governor of Lagos State has what it takes to make the country great, noting that his past achievements put him ahead of the other candidates.

According to him, apart from being a cerebral politician and master strategist who took Lagos State from bankruptcy to one of the best economies in Africa, he maintained that none of the presidential candidates are near him regarding competence.

He said, “I have no doubt in my heart that our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will win the 2023 election. I said this because, out of all the presidential candidates, he is the one with the best record of moving the country forward from where President Muhammadu Buhari stopped.

Oyo Assembly Hopeful Adekunle Kareem Endorses Oriyomi Hamzat for Governor

“As the governor of Lagos State for eight years his master plan is still what his successors are following and I believe that no one can deny the fact that the state is a success story in terms of development. What this means in essence is that Asiwaju Tinubu will replicate this all over the country.”

The former chairman of Pacesetter Transport Service, who berated Governor Makinde for taking Oyo State back from where the former governor, late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, left it, insisted that the present administration in the state is a failure with no dividends of democracy for the people.

He said that with less than eight months left for the administration, all the projects so far commissioned were those started by Ajimobi, stating that the people of the state are yearning for the return of the party in the state.

According to him, “The governorship election in Oyo State would be nothing but a walkover for our candidate, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin, this is because the present administration in the state has failed the people and they are eagerly waiting for our party to take overcome 2023.”
