This year, the 2023 Children’s Day anniversary has come and gone. Still, the taste of the event will continue to linger in the memories of the children and parents who came to witness the anniversary organised by the reigning popular radio stations in Ibadan, Fresh FM and Blast FM, owned by the popular musician and broadcaster, Dr Yinka Ayefele (MON).
Children, parents, celebrities, and vendors filled the Agodi Parks and Gardens, the event venue, to create a memorable event.
The children enjoyed themselves to the fullest with different games played at the event, most especially cooking competitions for the kids organised by no other person than the head of all caterers in Ibadan and its environs, the Chief Executive Officer, Ripples Catering and Events Services, Eunice Olaseeke Adeoye.
The leading catering and events services gave away prizes such as cash, cooking gas, fridges and other gift items to the winners.
The catering outfits also gave scholarships to the first 10 children who excelled in the cooking competitions to come and study how to cook in its academy.
Some of the celebrities present at the occasion thereafter gave their endorsements. They recommended the leading caterer, Ripples boss, Eunice Olaseeke Adeoye, to the children and the people present at the occasion to be patronising for the innovations introduced to the catering services in Oyo state and Nigeria as a whole.
At the event, celebrities such as musicians, Nollywood actors, actresses, and comedians were not left out in dishing out what they know best to the children and their parents, with Fresh FM and Blast FM transmitting the event live.
