All roads leading to Unification of Christ People Mission INC, Ijo Eniyan Kristy Aladura, Ring Road, Ibadan, were recently jam-packed as anointed and spiritual men and women of God, the crème de la creme of society, and a host of others gathered to celebrate Founder’s Day and the ordination of church members.
The event started with the opening rhythm of C & S 88, followed by the only lesson that the Prophetess (Dr.) read. Wuraola Afolajuwon.
Thereafter, the church had the confections of faith, and three people prayed, followed by the church announcement by Rev. Mother Oware.
The Unification Church choir then delivered the choir anthem.
The introduction of guests was performed by Prophet Kola Adeyanju, who later invited Primate Sunday Afolajuwon, to dance in the presence of God and finally performed the ordination.
However, before the ordination, the Head of the Unification of Christ People Mission INC, Primate Sunday Afolajuwon, urged members to be true children of God by not fighting or committing adultery. He added that they should avoid doing what God does not like and always follow what is in the holy Bible.
Thereafter, all the ordained members were called to dance and praise God for the success of the programme, while the man of God, Prophet Joshua Olusegun Adeoye, popularly called “Fitila” was called to the pulpit to feed all the dignitaries present with the word.
Adeoye in his sermon, expressed sadness over how most Aladura churches operate today, stating “Most Aladura churches have left the holy Bible but follow Qur’an and using it as a holy book while speaking in tongues.”
He added that most people who called themselves Prophets or Prophetesses cannot use the word of God (holy Bible) to command when they are facing the attack of evil spirits, urging them to come back to God and do accordingly what the Bible says.
While speaking with Apreel1 Events TV, some of the ordained members could not hide their happiness by thanking Almighty God for the programme’s success and dignitaries from other churches.
The General Overseer and his wife also thanked God for the event’s success. They urged the ordained members to avoid dirty things or anything that did not align with God’s words while praying for them and the entire church.
