All roads seem to be leading to Ekiti State, Nigeria since Governor Biodun Oyebanji inaugurated the Bureau for Tourism Development in Ekiti State with the appointment of Amb Wale Ojo-Lanre, Esq., as the Director-General.
Since his appointment and his casual visit to Arinta Waterfall, Ipole Iloro, Ekiti, the Bureau has been bombarded with requests from tourism-spirited institutions and fellows to visit Ekiti State
According to Mr Peculiar Ekiran, the Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development has received notification from one of the most diligent consumer tourism promoters in Nigeria who is the Director General of the Center For Research, Information and Media Management, CRIMMD, Dr. Raphael James will be visiting Ekiti state.
Dr James on his own, is the only Nigerian who handily planted a heritage library in Lagos, which has played host to over 150 thousand tourists from all over the world
Dr James also has a history of having visited over 550 tourist sites in Nigeria. He will be visiting Ekiti State again after a long visit, not only to enlist some tourism sites of the state into his ” Must Visit ICONIC Places Nigeria ‘ in his Library but also to add value and strengthen the promotional and marketing visibility for Ekiti Tourism Sites
Dr. James would also pay homage to the Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, who is the first alumnus of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, a school where Dr. James obtained his first degree in psychology and also the first alumnus of the university who also served his National Youth Service in that institution.
