All roads seem to lead to Ekiti State, Nigeria, since Governor Biodun Oyebanji inaugurated the Bureau for Tourism Development and appointed Amb Wale Ojo-Lanre, Esq., as the Director-General.
Since his appointment and a casual visit to Arinta Waterfall, Ipole Iloro, Ekiti, the Bureau has received numerous requests from tourism-spirited institutions and individuals to visit Ekiti State.
According to Mr Peculiar Ekiran, the Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development has received notification from one of the most diligent consumer tourism promoters in Nigeria who is the Director General of the Centre For Research, Information and Media Management, CRIMMD, Dr. Raphael James will be visiting Ekiti State.
Dr James, on his own, is the only Nigerian who handily planted a heritage library in Lagos, which has hosted over 150 thousand tourists worldwide.
Dr James also has a history of visiting over 550 tourist sites in Nigeria. He will be revisiting Ekiti State after an extended visit, not only to enlist some state tourism sites into his ” Must Visit ICONIC Places Nigeria ‘ in his Library but also to add value and strengthen the promotional and marketing visibility for Ekiti Tourism Sites.
Dr. James would also pay homage to the Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, who is the first alumnus of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, a school where Dr. James obtained his first degree in psychology and also the first alumnus of the university who also served his National Youth Service in that institution.
Peculiar disclosed that Barrister Ojo-Lanre, the Director-General of the Bureau of Tourism Development, and his team plan to optimise Dr. Raphel James’ visit to Ekiti State.
