It was a glamorous Saturday in ancient Ibadan on November 11, 2023, when the US-based socialite and renowned clergy, Prophet Jaiyesimi, popularly called Jaiye Mazarati, and his brothers and sisters commemorated the 40-year remembrance of their father, Pa Emmanuel Oladele Jaiyesimi.
The epoch-making event, held at Jaiye Mazarati’s residence around Olatunji Street, off Ring Road, Ibadan, drew eminent personalities and great Nigerians, who stormed Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, to honour the God’s General.
Glowing tributes characterised the memorial, which started at 4:00 p.m with an opening prayer by Supt. Apostle Ayodele Ojo from New York City, followed by fond memories from the deceased children and other dignitaries present at the occasion.
They also lauded the US-based socialite and prophet, Jaiye Mazarati, and other children for organising a befitting remembrance in respect of their late father, Pa Emmanuel Jaiyesimi and prayed to God to give them a long life.
Thereafter, the compere of the event, Abiola Okunlola, invited the children one by one to dance with their guests present at the occasion.
Dignitaries present at the occasion included who-is-who in the society, from different walks of life and members of his church in Nigeria and a host of others.
Guests were treated to scintillating tunes from Lord Anointed Melody, and Apreel1 Events TV covered the memorial programme.
