King Dr Akorede Saheed, popularly known as Saheed Osupa, Alexander Abolore Adigun (9ice), and others are billed to perform at this year’s Ajilete Carnival.
The event is scheduled for December 24th at Ogbomoso Recreation Club. Other artists, including Melody, Ragamurphy, Ododo Emi, Hockey Reign, and others, are expected to thrill the audience.
The festival’s chief promoter, Bashorun Akinwale Solomon Akinwole, said this while speaking with journalists about the preparation for this year’s edition of the Ajilete Carnival.
Wolekanle, as he is affectionately known, stated that preparations are underway for the carnival, which aims to promote Yoruba culture and tradition while uniting the community.
“You will recall that COVID-19 aborted the 2021 edition while security challenges and elections militated against the program in 2022, but this year we are determined to host the carnival and everything is in order.”
The carnival is not just about entertainment but also a platform for young people to showcase their talents.
