Polaris Bank has continued to build capacity in Nigeria’s media industry to upskill journalists and improve the quality of reportage in the country.

Therefore, the bank held a one-day media seminar on Saturday, designed to upgrade journalists’ and media practitioners’ mastery and usage of language with the latest trends in the field.

The ‘world-class’ media seminar for some online publishers from all over Nigeria was held in Jevinik House, Government Reservation Area (GRA), Ikeja, Lagos.

A seasoned marketing communicator and Director-General of Edgeforth Business Solutions and Brand Strategy, Sheriff Adekoya, and popular English language expert, Akeem Lasisi, were the main resource persons.

The Group Head of Strategies and Brand Management at Polaris Bank, Ndumeche Ezurike, urged the participants to explore the knowledge acquired from the training, improve their jobs for the benefit of society at large, and be conscious of their corporate social responsibility as journalists.
