As part of activities to usher in the 2024 Ramadan season, the chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Engineer Oyedele Hakeem Alao, has hosted all his coordinators in the state’s 33 local government areas.

Alao addressed the coordinators at the meeting held in his new office, Prudent Building, Monatan, Iwo Road, Ibadan, and reiterated his unwavering commitment to his ambition to become the governor of the pacesetter state.

The Asiwaju of Irokoland affirmed that his ambition is anchored on his capacity to improve the living standards of the good people of the state.

According to him, the state is blessed with enough human and natural resources to improve the lives of its people. He states that he is poised to make the state the best in the country.

He urged the coordinators to continue working to realise his dream of better lives for all state citizens and residents, noting that their support would make it a reality.

He said, “I want to use this opportunity to thank you for your immense support in the past and to inform you that the dream of making myself available to serve the people of the state as their governor has not waned. So I am counting on you to double your efforts towards making the dream a reality.”

Alao then gave palliatives to the coordinators to cushion the biting effects of the runaway inflation in the prices of goods and services currently ravaging the country.

The coordinators expressed gratitude to Alao for his timely intervention and stated they are more than ready to double their efforts to realise his ambition by 2027.
