The 7th edition of the Pan-African MICE/Business Tourism Capacity Development and Continuing Professional Development Masterclass will be held on July 16 and 17, 2024.

The organisers of the Africa Business Tourism and MICE Masterclass (ABTMM) announced that the event will be held at BDO Offices, Wanderers Office Park, 52 Corlett Dr, Illovo, Johannesburg, South Africa.

Held annually in collaboration with BDO South Africa and some industry partners, including, but not limited to, the University of South Africa, SAACI, South African Tourism, SITE Africa, and more, this year’s programme will feature expert and insightful presentations, interactive panel sessions, and deep dives into industry-critical topics. It will also offer all professional development, industry insights, networking, and sales opportunities.

Delivered by Africa Tourism Partners, with several renowned global experts, top decision-makers, and professionals, the programme offers Continuing Professional Development and Capacity Development Opportunities for personnel and officials in conference and exhibition venues, hotels, hospitality entities, professional conference organisations, professional events organisations, Government Officials (National, Provisional, and Municipal), educators, and students.

The Masterclass has connected over 1200 African industry professionals, practitioners, youth, SMMEs, Convention Bureaux and National Tourism officials to learn, share experiences and knowledge, and expand their networks.
