Odidiomo Launches Groundbreaking Road Rehabilitation In Ibadan

The lawmaker representing Ibadan South-West/Ibadan North-West federal constituency, Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide (Odidiomo), has launched a groundbreaking road rehabilitation project aimed at revitalising the area’s infrastructure, boosting connectivity and economic growth in his constituency,

According to a statement by Tolu Mustapha, Special Adviser on Media, Public Affairs and Protocol to Odidiomo, the project which covers 14 major roads across the federal constituency, is a testament to Hon. Olajide’s people-centred approach to governance.

The lawmaker listed Federal High Court – Aba Igbira Road – Fodacis road, linking Adeoyo roundabout junction to Adeoyo State Hospital road and Federal High Court road to Ogun-Osun River basin development authority along Oni and sons area of Ibadan, as the first phase of the project.

Other roads included in the project are Children Home School to U.M.C Junction; Adesope – Jascolly Road; Akuro – Olorunsogo; Ajimobi Oredeyin – Ashaka; Ikuola – Alexander; Ososami Oke-Ado – Back of Liberty Stadium; Salvation Army, Inalende, Oke Padre, Abebi Road; Idikan Adebisi Road; Agbaje Market to Agbeni Road; Benjamin, Adeleke, Maxima, Olopomewa; Ahmadiya, Ariyibi, Oke – Sioni, and Oluseyi, Ayetoro, Agbaje-Ijokodo Road.

The project, which is poised to be a game-changer for the people of Ibadan South-west and Ibadan North-West local government areas of Oyo State as the road rehabilitation exercise, is part of the constituency project facilitated by Hon. Olajide to Ibadan North-west/Ibadan South-West federal constituency.

Hon Olajide assured residents of the benefitting communities of a significant upgrade in their daily lives, with reduced travel times, improved road safety, and enhanced economic opportunities.

“Constituents should eagerly await the thrill of cruising on the newly revamped roads and bask in the positive impact it will have on their daily lives as the contractors will mobilize to the site in a few weeks and the project, which is expected to be completed in record time, is set to usher in a new era of development and progress for the constituency, with residents eagerly anticipating the transformative impact it will have on their daily lives.

“The completion of the road rehabilitation project will pave the way for a cascade of innovative initiatives that will further elevate the quality of life of residents and propel the constituency to even greater heights in line with my legacy as a trailblazing leader who is dedicated to the progress and well-being of his people and committed to effective representation and people-centred governance,” Hon. Olajide assured.
