In a remarkable display of kindness and generosity, Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide, a member of the House of Representatives, has embarked on a massive distribution of Ileya ram, other food items, and cash support to the people of Oyo State.

With the theme, Abundance for all, this year’s Sallah festival package by Hon. Olajide, according to his Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, Tolu Mustapha, is in fulfilment of Odidiomo’s quest to make life more abundant for the good people of Oyo State.

“Hon. Olajide is determined to continue his philanthropic efforts, in line with Governor Seyi Makinde’s agenda of putting smiles on the faces of the people of Oyo State.”

He said, the PDP, as a party, is pro-people and will not relent in ameliorating the pains and suffering of the citizens, most especially in this period of fuel subsidy removal, which has brought untold hardship on the common man on the street.

Speaking with Journalists while supervising the distribution, Hon. Olajide said, “This is my little way of putting smiles on the faces of my people, even beyond my federal constituency.”

“I have also set aside the sum of 20 million naira to be given out at 5,000 naira to each beneficiary, to help them have a blissful Sallah celebration.”

“The good people of Oyo State must be happy at all times, and I will not relent in my effort to see my people happy.”

The distribution exercise, which kicked off today 11th June, 2024, has reached various parts of the state, including Ibadan, Oyo, Ogbomoso, and Saki and beneficiaries have continued to express gratitude to Hon. Olajide for his kindness and generosity.

They described Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide’s philanthropic gesture as a testament to his commitment to the welfare of the people of Oyo State.

Recall that in the mood of the 2024 Eid El Kabir celebration, Odidiomo had recently announced his intention to distribute 500 rams and 5,000 bags of rice to his constituents and members of the public across Oyo state.

Hon. Olajide who believed a promise made should translate to a promise kept said the delivery of a dividend of democracy to the people was part of his “omoluabi” belief and commitment
