Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide, member representing Ibadan Northwest/Ibadan Southwest Federal Constituency of Oyo State in the 10th Assembly of the House of Representatives, has established himself as a distinguished lawmaker, renowned for his unwavering dedication, innovative approach, and remarkable achievements.
With unwavering commitment, he has made a notable impact, earning recognition for his tireless efforts that have positively affected his constituents.
Since his inauguration in 2023, Olajide, a two-term federal lawmaker has demonstrated dedication to his constituents’ welfare, sponsoring bills and motions and also facilitating projects that have transformed lives positively.
He chairs the Committee on Digital & Information Technology and serves on eight other committees, including Agric Colleges and Institutions, Basic Education Examination Boards, Constitutional Review, National Security and Intelligence, Renewable Energy, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Treaties Protocol and Agreements, and University Education.
He has sponsored Bills, including, the Digital Economy & e-Governance Bill, also a Bill on enhancing institutional memory and effective performance of the National Security Adviser, and another on investigating the hardship faced by Nigerian pilgrims at the 2023 Hajj among others.
His motions have addressed pressing national issues, including, curbing the leakage of classified information from security agencies.
Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide has facilitated various ICT projects in his constituency, such as solar-powered ICT centres, an ICT Hub, and digital skills training for artisans in his federal constituency.
Also in the pipeline is the rehabilitation of, fourteen major roads spread across Ibadan Northwest/Ibadan Southwest federal constituency of Oyo State.
