Sunday, December 8, 2024, marked a significant milestone in the music ministry of Evang. Victoria Jayeoba. She launched her latest album, Olorun Alaanu, at CAC Blessed Land Headquarters, off Idi-Iroko, Odo-Ona-Elewe, Ibadan.

Dignitaries, including the Senior Pastor of CAC Blessed Land Headquarters, Pastor Samuel Akinnawo, and Alhaji Adewale Olohunwa, Chairman of Olohunwa Block Industry, graced the album launch, which coincided with the sixth edition of Praise Feast.

In his remarks, Pastor Akinnawo commended the inspiration and God’s grace, “which is evident in the compositions of the album’s tracks and Evang Jayeoba’s life and ministry.” He prayed for her and encouraged her to remain steadfast in God.

Alhaji Olohunwa, one of the launchers, described Victoria Jayeoba as a respected gospel singer whose songs he holds in high esteem despite being a Muslim.

Evang. Jayeoba’s husband, Olufemi, commended his wife’s dedication and commitment to her music ministry, which he said has blessed people globally.

In a brief chat with REPORTERS AT LARGE, Evang Jayeoba described her music ministry as a divine call, which she has been pursuing since childhood but officially started in 2017. She cited Tope Alabi as her model and identified the lack of resources for album marketing as her major challenge. Olorun Alaanu is her third album, following Iralowo Oju-Ojo (2017) and Testimony (2019).

Jayeoba disclosed that the album and her previous songs are now available in digital stores.
