All arrangements have been concluded for a befitting burial ceremony for the Olori Ebi of the Haastrup Ajimoko family, Prince Julius Adeniran Haastrup Ajimoko, JP.
His son, the Looja of Itagunmodi, Ijesaland, His Royal Highness Oba Henry Ayinde Ademuyiwa Haastrup, disclosed to journalists today during a telephone chat.
According to Oba Ademuyiwa Haastrup, all roads which lead to Ilesa in Osun State would, between April 24 and 25 be jam-packed with who is who in the society, including monarchs, people in the diaspora, business stakeholders, celebrities, the heavy and mighty in politics, the crème de la crème and a host of others who will gather to celebrate the life well spent of my father, the Olori Ebi of Haastrup’s family worldwide, Prince Julius Adeniran Haastrup Ajimoko JP, who answered the call of God Almighty late last year at the age of 91 years.
Oba Ademuyiwa stated that the entire Ajimoko family has disclosed the burial arrangements to journalists in Ilesa.
He continued, on Thursday, April 24, 2025, there will be a lying in state at the family house, F143, Ayeso in Osun State by noon; thereafter, there will be a Christian wake-keep at his residence, Julius Adeniran Haastrup Street, behind African Grammar School, Osogbo Road, Ilesa in Osun State by 4pm.
The following day, Friday, April 25, a burial service will take place at Otapete Methodist Cathedral Church, Ilesa, at 10:00 a.m. prompt, to be followed by interment.
Thereafter, the family and guests will all proceed to the King Event Centre, located on Ilesa-Ife Road, Ilesa, for the reception.
The notable master of ceremonies, Alhaji Abas Akande Obesere, will anchor the event, providing the music, while Apreel1 Events TV is expected to cover the event.
