Turaki Adinni of Oyo State, Engr. Abduljelyl Adekunle Kareem, known as Adanla, has called on Muslim faithful to use the Eid-el-Kabir celebration to imbibe a forgiving spirit.
While charging the Muslim community to be good ambassadors of Islam, Adanla, the CEO of Afia Homes & Properties and Mogaji of the Adanla compound of Ibadan, called for spiritual rebirth and sober reflection, adding that the teachings of the Holy Qur’an must be upheld in all dealings.
In a statement he signed and made available to REPORTERS AT LARGE, Adanla described the Kabir celebration as a special moment to be merry and show love to one another. Islam is known as a religion of peace.
Adanla Advises Muslims
Engr. Abduljelyl Adekunle Kareem said, “As we celebrate another Eid-el-kabir, I congratulate our Muslim brothers and sisters, home and abroad. It’s an excellent opportunity to check our relationships with Almighty Allah and man again and endeavour to make adjustments where necessary.
“We must adhere to the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and the exemplary qualities of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and embrace peace and harmony for a better society.
“I wish all a happy celebration, and I pray that Allah will grant us the grace to witness many more celebrations.”
Currently performing the 2025 Hajj with his wife and other family members, Engr. Kareem wished Muslims a fruitful Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
