With just two weeks left until the submission deadline, Africa Tourism Partners is thrilled to see a surge in enthusiastic responses from young innovators to the 7th Africa Youth in Tourism Innovation Challenge 2025.
The organisers encouraged more participants to register for the summit on its portal before the deadline of February 28, 2025.
In collaboration with UN Tourism, the challenge has inspired a wealth of creative ideas from African youth, showcasing their potential to reshape the future of tourism.
The competition is open to youth aged 18-35 years and postgraduate students of all ages globally, as well as partnerships or corporations innovating within the tourism sector.
The challenge provides a unique platform for young innovators to present their groundbreaking projects to an international audience and secure funding, mentorship, partnerships, and global exposure. Submissions will be judged on the project’s originality, sustainability, significance, applicability, practicality, and impact.
According to the release by Africa Tourism Partners, the top five finalists will be announced at the 7th Africa Youth in Tourism Summit (AYTIS) 2025, which will take place in Nairobi, Kenya, from June 10 to 13, 2025.
The summit promises to be a pivotal moment for collaboration and innovation in African tourism, creatives, and cultural industries.

“One-on-one meetings (B2B, B2G, and B2C sessions), speed marketing, exhibitions, masterclasses for entrepreneurs in MICE and youth, and platforms for brand activation will be part of the program.
