Afia CEO Mogaji Adanla Loses Father

The CEO of Afia Construction & Building Engineering Consultancy Services Ltd., Engr. Abduljelyl Adekunle Karheem MCIArb, MCIOB, and МСАВЕ has lost his father, Alhaji Abdulkarheem Boladale Alade Adanla.

Boladale died Sunday night at the age of 97.

Eng. Karheem, the Turaki Adini of Oyo State and the Mogaji of the Adanla Family, confirmed his death by telephone.

He will be interred according to Islamic rites today, Monday, March 10, 2025.

The burial, which will be led by the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh Abdul-Ganiyy AbuBakr Agbotomokekere, will be held at the deceased’s residence, 28 Taiwo Street, off Poly Road, Sango, Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

“I thank God for my father’s life. He lived an exemplary and fulfilled life. And I’m also happy with my decision to bring him to live with me after completing my palace early this year,” Adanla said.

It will be recalled that Adanla lost her mother, Princess (Alhaja) Aolat Apinke Karheem, in June of last year.
