THE Senate has once more, Wednesday, rejected Ibrahim Magu as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s chairman.
This is the second time the Senate is dismissing Magu as the substantive director of the counter unite office.

The Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, subsequent to saying thanks to Magu got some information about the operations of the EFCC on ignoring court requests and instances of human rights manhandle. He asked how EFCC under Magu will battle debasement.
The acting EFCC supervisor was likewise asked by Sen. Atai Aidoko about the operational strategy in keeping suspects on examination under Magu.

Mr. Magu answered, saying, “It is difficult to give report on how much has been recovered from fight against corruption.”
He said in spite of the fact that EFCC is not generally ideal on its choices, but rather the office endeavor to give a valiant effort.
Review that in December a year ago, the Senate dismisses the affirmation of Mr Ibrahim Magu as the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. The Senate said security reports in regards to the individual of Mr Magu was not ideal for his leeway for the counter unite organization’s top employment and asked President Muhammadu Buhari who selected him to instantly supplanted him.
