Gunners, meanwhile, struggled to find their usual rhythm as Brighton continued to press and create opportunities.

The Seagulls eventually found the breakthrough through Pascal Gross, who opened the scoring in the 31st minute with a powerful effort from outside the penalty area.

Gross’ strike gave Brighton a deserved advantage and put Arsenal under pressure to respond.

The goal also gave the home supporters plenty to celebrate as Brighton continued their search for another breakthrough.

Kostoulas Doubles Brighton’s Lead

Arsenal attempted to recover from the setback, but Brighton remained dangerous going forward.

The Gunners looked for opportunities to get back into the contest, with Bukayo Saka testing Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen.

However, Brighton continued to threaten and eventually doubled their advantage just before half-time.

Charalampos Kostoulas scored in the 45th minute, finding the bottom-left corner with an impressive long-range effort.

The goal gave Brighton a commanding 2-0 lead heading into the break and left Gunners facing a difficult task in the second half.

For the Seagulls, the second goal was a significant moment in the contest, providing further confidence as they looked to protect their advantage.

Chema Andrés Makes It Three

Brighton continued their attacking approach after the restart and were rewarded with another goal in the 57th minute.

Chema Andrés rose at the far post to head home Pascal Gross’ corner, extending the hosts’ advantage to 3-0.

The goal capped another important contribution from Gross, who had already opened the scoring before providing the assist for Brighton’s third

Andrés’ strike further increased the pressure on Arsenal, who now needed three goals simply to get back on level terms.

Brighton, however, remained organised and continued to frustrate the visitors as the match progressed.

Arsenal Struggle to Find a Response

Despite their efforts to get back into the game,Gunners struggled to create enough clear opportunities to seriously threaten Brighton’s advantage.

The Gunners attempted to improve their performance through second-half substitutions, with Mikel Arteta looking for a way to change the direction of the contest.

However, Brighton remained disciplined defensively and continued to make life difficult for the visitors.

Gunners had opportunities to reduce the deficit, but Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen helped preserve the clean sheet.

The Seagulls also threatened to add another goal, with their attacking players continuing to test Arsenal’s defensive organisation.

Brighton eventually secured the victory with a convincing three-goal margin, completing an impressive afternoon in front of their supporters.

Brighton Celebrate Memorable Victory

The result represents an important achievement for Brighton, who secured all three points against Arsenal with an impressive performance.

The Seagulls will take confidence from their ability to score three goals while keeping a clean sheet against a team competing at the top end of English football.

For Arsenal, the defeat provides an opportunity to assess their performance and identify areas that require improvement.

The Gunners will be disappointed with the manner of the loss, particularly after beginning the campaign with a series of positive results.

Brighton, meanwhile, can celebrate a memorable victory that will give their supporters plenty to discuss.

What Next for Arsenal?

Arsenal will now look to respond in their next fixture after suffering their first defeat of the Premier League season.

The Gunners will need to improve their defensive organisation and attacking efficiency as they continue their campaign.

For Mikel Arteta, the priority will be ensuring that his players recover from the setback and return to winning ways.

Brighton will also be looking to build on the result as they prepare for their next challenge.

The Seagulls have demonstrated their ability to compete against Arsenal, while the Gunners must now focus on putting the disappointing result behind them.

The 3-0 scoreline gives Brighton a memorable victory and leaves Arsenal with plenty to consider as the Premier League season continues.
