“I will not step down. I will never step down. My fate is in the hands of God and the delegates,” those were the words of a leading candidate for the national chairmanship of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, on Saturday, when he arrived the Eagles Square venue of the convention.

Dokpesi, who alleged that money had changed hands overnight, expressed belief that the convention would still be successful.
