THE Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN), on Sunday, demanded that it is going ahead with the arranged strike activity today, as its meeting with the Federal Government and the Department of State Security (DSS), finished in a halt.
A source in the meeting told ReportersAtLarge, said authorities of NECONDE neglected to turn up for the meeting which was called at the occasion of the DSS.
He said the DSS guaranteed to compel authorities of the organization to show up at another meeting planned for tomorrow (Monday).
Be that as it may, the source expressed that independent of NECONDE’s inability to respect the welcome and the rescheduled meeting, the strike would go ahead as arranged, as every one of its individuals had been assembled the nation over, particularly its downstream individuals.

“The company had also gone ahead to sack many Nigerians, claiming that it is a private company and has the right to hire and fire.
