MAINTAINING his pioneering role as a Nigerian tourism pathfinder and innovator, Ambassador Wanle Akinboboye, promoter Motherland Beckons and President, La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort Ikegun Village, Ibeju–Lekki, Lagos has introduced Sea Bikes and Chariots as tourism facilities at the resort.

The introduction of Sea Bike to La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort is the first of its kind in the history of hospitality in Nigeria and will set a new trend in sport tourism.

Ambassador Akinboboye who has just inaugurated the Destination Ouidah, an intra- ECOWAS tourism traffic stimulator dovetailing in Ouidah, Republic of Benin was said to have brought the Sea bikes from his recent tourism business trip to Germany.

According to Prince Adekunle Adeyemo, Executive Assistant, to Ambassador Akinboboye “It is the sole aim of Ambassador Akinboboye to make La Campagne the numero uno resort in Africa where all humanly conceivable facilities necessary to ensure the total consummation of relaxation could be achieved. Hence, he has all over the years been, in sequential order turning a one-time swampy region beside the sea into a heavenly Eldorado”.

He disclosed that “the introduction of the sea bikes and the carriage to La Campagne is the first of its kind in Nigeria. There is no record of it anywhere. Now, you can ride on the sea and make stunts as if you are on the land. This is power of innovation, proactiveness, and pragmatism in business”.

Prince Adeyemo revealed “The focal business point at La Campagne is the constancy of innovation, introduction of new facilities, constant retrofitting and contemporary equalisation of facilities and global updating of services. That is how to keep the interest of the clients in the resort and keep them loving it”.

He disclosed “We have a genius in President Akinboboye who is not contended with parading obsolete facilities or offering monotonous services which he believes kill interest. But he is daily making sure that regular patrons and client are stunned with new facilities regularly”.

Prince Adeyemo said ‘from houses on the trees to themed swimming pool; to Bolekaja, to kayaking, to longest swimming pool in the world, we are now onto sea rides and carriage. It is innovation, upgrading, and proactive always”.

He disclosed “Apart from the sea bikes, the carriage is here and patrons take a tour of the resort while enjoying themselves inside a horse-driven carriage. This is just a tip of the iceberg”.

Talking on the preparation for Valentine’s Day, Prince Adeyemo revealed “Coincidental of intention you will call it .But it is an assurance of you getting the utmost at La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort if you dare to visit us on Valentine’s Day. Definitely, the lady will thank you.”
