Botswana is set to host Pan-African tourism stakeholders and thought leaders at the 5th annual Africa Tourism Leadership Forum (ATLF) and Awards. The event is organised by Africa Tourism Partners, UNWTO and BDO, South Africa.

Over 350 physical delegates from over 30 countries will converge from October 24 to 26, 2022, at the Gaborone International Convention Centre, Grand Palm, Botswana, for the annual Tourism event, themed, “Igniting Intra-Africa Tourism through inclusive intra-Africa trade, partnerships and Investments”.

Participants and delegates will indulge in Botswana’s tourism experiences during the forum.

Botswana boasts several fascinating game reserves, national parks, a unique melting pot of cultures, and many tourist attractions that the ATLF 2022 delegates and hosted buyers can package to promote an unforgettable intra-African experience. The country’s distinctive offerings include the Kalahari Desert, the Okavango Delta, and the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, with its fossilized river valleys and undulating grasslands.

According to Kwakye Donkor, CEO of Africa Tourism Partners, ATLF 2022 will provide many learning and discussion platforms on tourism investment, MICE, Travel Tech, intra-Africa travel, and Marketing. These will be led by renowned global experts, Ministers, CEOs, Business Executives, Policy-Makers, Entrepreneurs, Academics, Researchers, Practitioners, and DMCs.
