A group of protesters under the aegis of Concerned Ogun Citizens stormed former governor Ibikunle Amosun’s residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Saturday, pleading with him to join forces with other opposition parties to unseat Governor Dapo Abiodun.

According to DailyTrust, the protesters urged Amosun to support the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Oladipupo Adebutu, in next Saturday’s election.

The protesters carried placards with different inscriptions conveying their grievances, some of which read, “Dapo Abiodun must go”, “Senator Ibikunle Amosun, you are a leading leader; with you by our side, we can all make this happen”, and “Senator Ibikunle Amosun, please join PDP allied forces now”, among others.
