Mabou Loiseau, from Queens, New York City, was just eight years old in 2015. Still, she was fluent in eight languages, including English, American Sign Language, Haitian Creole, Spanish, French, and Mandarin. She was studying Japanese as well.
Mabou’s mother first heard her pronounce a few French words when she was just two years old, although she didn’t even know how to speak the language.
