A gas station along CMD Road in Magodo, Lagos, has wreaked havoc in the neighbourhood after an explosion.
The fire was said to have been caused by the exhaust of a car, which resulted in an explosion.

The Lagos firefighter unit has confirmed there were casualties but has not revealed the actual figure.
The gas plant will be closed down for business till further notice, authorities have said.
Motorists and pedestrians are advised to take an alternative route to avoid another disaster.
