Silas Adekunle is a renowned robotics engineer from Nigeria who has gained worldwide recognition for his groundbreaking inventions in robotics. He became the world’s highest-paid robotics engineer at 31, owing to his extraordinary skills and exceptional talent.

Adekunle is credited with constructing the world’s first gaming robot. He has also been described as the most innovative robotics engineer in the world.

He owns Reach Robotics, a company that specializes in developing advanced robotic technology for gaming and entertainment purposes. In 2016, he developed the world’s first intelligent gaming robot, Mekamon, which garnered immense popularity and sold over 500 units.

He holds a First Class Honours degree in robotics and a commemorative degree from the University of the West of England, Bristol. His contributions to the field of robotics have earned him many accolades and awards. These include a place on Forbes Europe’s 30 Under 30 Technology list in 2018 and a position on the Financial Times’ Top 100 Minority Ethnic Leaders in Technology list.

In 2017, Apple signed an exclusive deal with Adekunle to absorb his innovative creation, Mekamon, into their products. Mekamon is a four-legitimate robot controlled through a smartphone app designed explicitly for gaming. It is competent to battle other Mekamons, learn new expertise, and develop its unique personality through artificial intelligence.

Adekunle’s pioneering work in robotics has received wide praise and appreciation from industry experts and peers alike. His ingeniousness, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit have inspired multitudinous young people to pursue robotics and artificial intelligence careers. He serves as a part-model for coming originators and continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in robotics.

He built the world’s first intelligent gaming robot, Mekamon, at 24 in 2016. It sold 500 units that same year.

He signed an exclusive deal with Apple in 2017.
