Adding a layer of celebratory significance, the event will also include a ceremonial cake-cutting to commemorate both Nigeria’s 65th Independence anniversary and the birthday of Ambassador Dr. Yemi Farounbi OON, whose own milestone falls on the same auspicious day.

The Yemi Farounbi Colloquium is committed to fostering informed public discourse on governance, democracy, and national development. Through its high-caliber events, the Colloquium actively encourages rigorous examination of policy options, promotes stakeholder collaboration, and ultimately aims to support Nigeria’s democratic maturation.

This lecture is intentionally designed as a multi-stakeholder dialogue, actively encouraging broad participation.
