- PSG’s Difficult Start Continues
PARIS, France — Paris Saint-Germain’s difficult Start to the 2026/27 campaign continued on Friday as the European champions suffered a 2-1 defeat to AS Monaco, leaving Luis Enrique’s side without a Ligue 1 victory after their opening three matches.
The defeat extended PSG’s winless run to four games in all competitions, while Monaco maintained their perfect start under Brazilian head coach Filipe Luís.
PSG’s Last Four Games
PSG have struggled to find consistency since their defeat to Lens in the French Super Cup.

The Brazilian coach has won all five of his competitive matches since taking charge:

PSG took the lead through Marquinhos in the first half, but Monaco responded after the break through Flávio Nazinho and Stanis Idumbo to complete a 2-1 comeback.
