All Progressives Congress (APC) national leader and former governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has lifted the lids on his visitation to Kano State.

Speaking with journalists on Friday, December 4, the APC national leader said his coming to Kano is not for a political reason but the wedding Fatiha of a” respected friend’s daughter.”

It was gathered that Tinubu arrived the northern state with a former chairman of APC, Chief Bisi Akande, former chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Malam Nuhu Ribadu and notable members of the ruling party.

He was received by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano at a reception organised to celebrate the marriage of the daughter of an Islamic scholar, Sheikh Muhammad Bin Uthman, the chief imam of Masjid-Al-Sahaba, held at Mosque Hunaisa Muhammad Bin Uthman.

The former APC governor lauded Governor Ganduje for doing an amazing job in his state and used the avenue to call for unity among Nigerians irrespective of tribal affiliation.
