CHAIRMAN, Senate Committee on ICT and Cybercrime, Senator Abdulfatai Buhari, PhD, has urged Nigerians to be honest and remain committed to the growth and progress of Nigeria.
Senator Buhari in a Sallah message issued by his media office said the myriads of problem militating against Nigeria as a country will be solved “if we are all honest and dedicated to Nigeria’s project.”
The lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial district at the upper chamber of the National Assembly maintained that honesty is a sacrifice and should be done in good faith.
He called on Muslim faithful to be open and live according to the dictate of Islam which stipulates sacrifices and helping the needy as one of the criteria for humanity.
The lawmaker also called for prayers for the nation and leaders, especially the president, his cabinet, the National Assembly and political office holders.
“Obviously, we need God’s intervention but, we also need to demonstrate our readiness to move Nigeria forward, Nigeria is a project that must not fail and this can only be achieved with our hard work, dedication and prayer.”
He, however, congratulated Muslim on the occasion of Eid-El Kabir celebration and reaffirms his continuous commitment to the development of his senatorial district (Oyo North ), Oyo state and Nigeria.
