Former Nigerian President, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has reiterated his support for the campaign for gender equality.

GEJ joined the world to celebrate International Women’s Day 2020 campaign with the theme is Each for Equal.

International Women’s Day is a global day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women in the world. The day is l also used to emphasise a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.

The former president made the call in a post on his verified Facebook account on Sunday.

Jonathan who celebrated the day with to women all over the world, saying that “Today the world celebrates your strength and resilience. We recognize your sacrifices and achievements in all walks of life.”
