One of the aspirants for the Oyo State House of Assembly under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogbomoso North, Prince Joseph Yemi Ajani, is dead.
Prince Ajani died on Thursday night of complications from an injury sustained after a reckless truck driver hit him in Ogbomoso.
It was reported that the truck collided with the motorcycle, causing serious injuries, and he passed away before reaching the hospital.
Some of his friends and political associates who confirmed the development to our reporter said they called his line. The person who picked it up told them he did not survive the accident. His body had been deposited at the mortuary.
They described him as a responsible man passionate about the advancements of people around him.
