Botswana is set to showcase the magic of the country’s tourism products and facilities at the world’s largest travel trade show, ITB Berlin 2024 at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds.
Announcing its participation at the premier platform for industry innovation and collaboration, which will be held between March 5 and 7, the Botswana Tourism Organisation (BTO) disclosed that it will be hosting 24 tour operators represented by 48 tour professionals under its banner, providing them with exposure, invaluable networking and sales opportunities.

According to ITB Berlin organisers, 24,000 attendees, spread across 4 stages with a total of 17 thematic tracks are expected at this year’s edition of the event, which is themed “Pioneer the Transition in Travel & Tourism Together”.

Each year, nternationale Tourismus Börse (ITB) welcomes around 10,000 exhibitors from more than 180 countries and regions. Cities, tour operators, booking system developers, airlines, hotels and other businesses involved in tourism introduce themselves and their services, inspiring wanderlust and business opportunities.
In 2023, ITB attracted 90,127 visitors, compared to 60,700 in 2022. This year, more than 160,000 visitors and over 10,000 exhibitors are expected to gather for ITB Berlin 2024.
