A popular veteran in Nollywood, John Okafor, known as Mr Ibu, has died. He was 62.

This is coming barely 24 hours after the death of Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, popularly known as Sisi Quadri, who was also a popular actor in the movie industry.

According to multiple reports from sources close to him, the veteran comedian passed away at Evercare Hospital.

Many fans have shared condolences on X, reminiscing about movies the late actor has featured.

Mr Ibu faced persistent issues with blood clotting attributed to diseased blood vessels, and struggled with various health challenges over the years.
