The Secretary to the State Government, Professor Olanike Adeyemo, has revealed that the Oyo State government is open to collaboration on agriculture and agribusiness.

She made this known during a courtesy visit by the Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association held at the SSG’s office in Ibadan.

Professor Adeyemo reiterated the ongoing agricultural revolution at Fashola Farm through the Oyo State Agricultural Development Agency (OYSADA), emphasising that the state government is eager to partner with more investors and professional associations in agriculture to enhance food sufficiency.

The Secretary to the State Government maintained further that Governor Makinde has already engaged some expatriates in agricultural research to support the State’s agricultural system

“With plans for an agri-business hub in the Ibarapa area, the government is dedicated to increasing food security and reducing poverty in the state,” she said.
